5/21: Getting closer to reopening now! Working much needed maintenance to maintain a clean working environment and designing protocols to follow reopening mandatory safety standards. Please continue to follow the email directions in 5/3’s update if you’re interested in getting on the list to be notified when the shop is back up and running.
5/3: Massachusetts has extended stay-at-home advisory and non-essential business closure in Massachusetts till May 18th. At this point, I am fully anticipating the closure to be extended further and am not expecting operations to return till June. Because of this, I am placing a pause on accepting orders until the restrictions on my e-commence business can be lifted. If you are interested in ordering, please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with what products you are interested in ordering and where you are located. While I can’t fulfill these orders at the moment, I would like to get a running list of orders together so when I can reopen I can fulfill quicker. This is a trying time for all of us, and I am appreciative of my customers’ patience at this time.
4/8: Due to the extended stay-at-home advisory and non-essential business closure in Massachusetts, shipping of all orders continued to be suspended through May 4th at this time.
3/23: With the stay at home mandate for nonessential businesses signed by Massachusetts Governor Baker, Spoon Makes’ workshop will be closed. This goes into effect immediately and will last through at least April 7th. Orders may still be placed on this site, but will ship when the stay at home order is lifted. International shipments will still remain suspended at this time. All open orders prior to 3/23 11AM will ship today. In in the meantime, I hope my customers stay healthy and creative. Please email with any questions.
3/15: With the COVID-19 outbreak being a escalating global situation and US response rapidly changing, I am currently scaling back operations at my workshop. While my workshop is currently not impacted by restrictions in Massachusetts, I am taking proactive steps to ensure the workshop is clean and myself stays healthy. I am still fulfilling US orders, producing new units, and shipping on a limited schedule. In an effort to ease trade for essential shipments, international shipping is currently suspended, and will be reevaluated after travel bans are lifted. All products are still being produced to my high standards, but might just take a bit longer to get to you. Thanks for supporting small businesses!
